There is something about staying chronically busy that keeps a person thriving and dying at the same time. For those crazy enough to have a busy and eventful schedule, time is a precious and well-managed thing. While leading a habitually hectic life is something that can get the best of a person from time to time, it is also something that many people flourish from. Being involved, studious, and still attempting to fit in time for other activities can be demanding, but many people love the thrill of never sitting still. Although the life of a non-stop person can be rewarding and great, it definitely comes with its struggles, twenty-three to be exact:

1. There are always alarms set on your phone.

2. You planner never leaves your side.

3. And you have several different forms of calendars, whether it be a desk calendar, planner, phone calendar, or a laptop calendar, you’ve got it all.

4. Not to mention, you are always checking it and updating your planner whenever possible to stay on top of everything.

5. Most of your days are planned perfectly, including time to eat, shower, and sleep.

6. Sitting still isn’t something you do very often.

7. And when you do get the chance to sit still, you feel like there is something you should be doing that you are forgetting about.

8. Sometimes your phone will go unchecked for hours and your friends will wonder if you fell off the earth.

9. Making time for friends is often difficult.

10. Eating out becomes a habit because you often don’t have time to cook at home.

11. To-go snacks are a part of your every day diet.

12. You are constantly looking ahead of schedule in order to get things done beforehand so you aren’t stressed out last minute.

13. And yet, you still end up stressed out last minute.

14. Your days often consist of running from one meeting to the next.

15. The back of your car slightly resembles your closet because you have to be prepared for the different events throughout the day.

16. You are always the first one to leave home and the last one to come back.

17. Laundry takes at least four days to complete because you never have time to complete it.

18. Hats and headbands are common accessories to hide the fact that showering wasn’t an option the night before.

19. Constantly being sick because you don’t have time to go see the doctor is just a part of life.

20. Realizing you haven’t been home for more than 3 hours in 4 days.

21. Being able to sleep a full 8 hours is a gift from God.

22. Hygiene becomes a luxury.

23. As well as the will to live.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
