1. At first you're so excited

2. then it hits you.

3. You stare blankly at all the stuff you have to pack.

4. You decide to make a packing list, that's still productive, right?

5. Then comes the thought of actually moving all of this out of your house, miles away, and unpacking...again.

6. You complain to your mom.

7. You complain to your friends.

8. You tweet "Someone come help me pack"

9. You finally get over it and convince yourself that you can do this.


10. You pack one box and feel like a champ.

11. You pack another, you feel like you're on top of the world.

12. Then you remember you can't bring your candles or tapestries...

13. You get annoyed and realize it's time for another break.

14. It's the first time you step back and look at the mess you made.

15. You begin to question why things have to get messy before they can get clean.

16. You say you'll only rest for 10 minutes...but..

17. You spend a couple days avoiding the mess you made.

18. You remember you leave tomorrow...

19. You turn up the music and get crackin'

20. Before you know it, you have a huge mound in your room of packed boxes and tubs...

21. Then you realize you STILL have to put it in your car.

22. You get all hands on deck, whether they like it or not.

23. Finally you shut the doors of your vehicle and head out with a victory.

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
