As I was preparing to write this article, I began to feel extremely overwhelmed. I had completely convinced myself that there was no way I could narrow the list down to only 21 lyrics. Seriously, I convinced myself so much so that I had to change the title to 23 song lyrics because I simply could not leave any of these out. Song lyrics are cool because they can touch so many different people and mean a million different things to every person who hears them. Whether you're going through a breakup, having the best day of your life or stressing out over a crazy situation, these lyrics are sure to make you feel something.

1. "I was the one you always dreamed of, you were the one I tried to draw. How dare you say it's nothing to me, baby you're the only light I ever saw." John Mayer, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

2. "Don't hang your head, love should make you feel good." The Lumineers, Charlie Boy

3. "How unfair, it's just our luck, found something real that's out of touch. But if you'd searched the whole wide world, would you dare to let it go?" Birdy, Not About Angels

4. "I'm looking through you while you're looking through your phone and then leaving with somebody else." The 1975, Somebody Else

5. "Love, it will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, it will set you free." Mumford and Sons, Sigh no more

6. "We grow apart, I watch you on the red horizon. Your lion's heart will protect you under stormy skies and I will always be listening for your laughter and your tears and as soon as I can hold you once again I won't let go of you, I swear." James Bay, Scars

7. "It’s always have and never hold. You’ve begun to feel like home. What’s mine is yours to leave and take, What’s mine is yours to make your own." The Fray, Look After You

8. "Hope when you take that jump, you don't fear the fall. Hope when the water rises, you build a wall. Hope when the crowd screams out, they're screaming your name. Hope if everybody runs, you choose to stay." One Republic, I Lived

9. "Though I know I'll never lose affection for people and things that went before, I know I'll often stop and think about them, In my life, I love you more." The Beatles, In My Life

10. Your skin, oh yeah your skin and bones, turn into something beautiful.
Do you know, for you, I'd bleed myself dry." Coldplay, Yellow

11. "Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart.
Like: "Why are we here?", "And where do we go?", "And how come it's so hard?".
It's not always easy, and sometimes life can be deceiving. I'll tell you one thing:
It's always better when we're together." Jack Johnson, Better Together

12. "say something, something like you love me. Less you wanna move away
from the noise of this place." Mumford and Sons, Believe

13. "See you and me have a better time than most can dream, have it better than the best.
So we can pull on through whatever tears at us, whatever holds us down, and if nothing can be done we'll make the best of what's around." Dave Matthews Band, Best of What's Around

14. "I'm never over, over you. Something about you. It's just the way you move,
the way you move me." John Mayer, Back to You

15. "But the world looks better through your eyes." Ed Sheeran, Firefly

16. "Why don't the newscasters cry when they read about people who die? At least they could be decent enough to put just a tear in their eyes." Jack Johnson, The News

17. "When you love someone they're gonna hurt you, when you love someone
they're gonna burn you, but don't let that burn you down." Ben Rector, Wildfire

18. "When I was at church they taught me something else, if you preach hate at the service those words aren't anointed, that holy water that you soak in has been poisoned." Macklemore, Same Love

19. "Because I love your handshake, meeting my father. I love how you walk with your hands in your pockets. How you kissed me when I was in the middle of saying something, there’s not a day I don’t miss those rude interruptions." Taylor Swift, Last Kiss

20. "I don't gamble, but if I did I would bet on us." The Lumineers, Dead Sea

21. "Cause every time I saw you I got nervous, shivering and shaking at the knees,
And just like every song I haven't heard yet, no, I didn't know the words in front of me." Gavin James, Nervous

22. "We gonna take a boat to the end of the world, all the way to the end of the world. Oh, and when the kids are old enough we're gonna teach them to fly." Dave Matthews Band, You and Me

23. "The more you take the less you have 'cause it’s you in the mirror staring back.
Quick to let go, slow to react, Be more heart and less attack." More Heart, Less Attack, NEEDTOBREATHE

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour
StableDiffusion

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
