Some of us may deny it, but chances are, every single one of us has some pretty deep thoughts while showering. Something about the peaceful setting of a shower makes our minds go to some pretty odd places, causing us to realize strange phenomena about common, everyday things. These are often referred to as "shower thoughts", and are typically random ideas or epiphanies about the world that can be pretty mind-blowing. Here are just some shower thoughts that may make you take a step back and really think.

1. Your right elbow has never (and probably never will) touch your right hand.

2. If your shirt isn't tucked into your pants, your pants are tucked into your shirt.

3. Reading is just staring at a piece of a tree and mildly hallucinating.

4. Every book you've ever read is just a different combination of the same 26 letters. Fifty Shades of Gray and the Bible, for example.

5. There's no reason for the alphabet to be in the order it's in.

7. Because the word "indescribable" exists, there isn't anything that can't be described.

8. If you tap your phone screen in a certain pattern, someone will show up at your door with a pizza.

10. A first date is basically a job interview for the position of your boyfriend/girlfriend.

11. When you're trying to fall asleep, you're pretending you're asleep.

15. If you haven't met them yet, your future spouse is currently creating the memories that you will hear about when you meet them.
