Since I was a young girl, I’ve always preferred older songs instead of the new modern music. They just seemed so much meaningful than the new hip songs on the radio. I’ve listen to these older songs and just never get tired of them no matter how many times I’ve listened to them. I guess that’s why they call them “Oldies, but goodies.” These songs always get you on your feet, make you feel good, or just sing along with them. I just love every single one of these songs, that's why I want to share them with you. I feel like no matter how old or young you are, you should know these songs or listen to them now:

  1. Born in the USA” - Bruce Springsteen
    1. This song should just be our national anthem.
  2. Can’t help falling in love” - Elvis Presley
    1. This song is just so touching, I just can't explain how much I love it.
  3. Jailhouse Rock” - Elvis Presley

  4. Stand By Me” - Ben E. King
  5. Lean on Me” - Bill Withers

  8. I’ll be there” - Jackson 5
  9. My Girl” - The temptations
  10. Livin’ on a Prayer” - Bon Jovi
    1. Here's a funny video to go along with this song.
  11. Eye of the Tiger” - Survivor
    1. I cannot post this song without posting the video of Jensen Ackles in the TV series "Supernatural" doing his own hilarious impersonation!
  12. I will always love you” - Whitney Houston
  13. Imagine” - John Lennon
  14. Twist and Shout” - The Beatles
    1. GET UP AND DANCE!
  15. Let it be” - The Beatles
  16. Hotel California” - Eagles
  17. Piano Man” - Billy Joel
  18. Uptown Girl” - Billy Joel
  19. My Heart will go on” - Celine Dion

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior.
