23 Movies I Can't Wait To Watch This October!

Because October is just about the only time it's socially acceptable to binge watch Halloween movies.

For some people October means pumpkin spice and Ugg boots. For me it means candy and Halloween movies! I do have a confession though, when it comes to horror movies I'm probably the biggest baby you've ever met. So most of the movies I watch are of the ABC Family (or whatever it's called now) and Disney Channel Variety.

For anyone else who shares my love of cheese Halloween movies, I've put together this list of twenty-three movies to watch in October. This is not a masterlist though. Many of these movies do have sequels, but in my opinion, they just didn't measure up to the original.

The great part about being a writer is that I get to decide on who makes the list. Yes, I am slightly drunk with power.

In any case here is the list. Enjoy!

1. Halloweentown (1998)

2. Halloweentown 2 (2001)

3. Halloweentown High (2004)

4. Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire (2000)

5. Phantom of the Megaplex (2000)

6. Under Wraps (1997)

7. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

8. Twitches (2005)

9. Hocus Pocus (1993)

10. Monster House (2006)

11. Casper (1995)

12. The Haunted Mansion (2003)

13. Casper Meets Wendy (1998)

14. The Addams Family (1991)

15. The Addams Family Values (1993)

16. The Witches (1990)

17. Beetlejuice (1988)

18. It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)

19. Ghostbusters (1984)

20. The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)

21. Coraline (2009)

22. Corpse Bride (2005)

23. The Little Vampire (2000)

I hope you enjoyed my list! What's your favorite Halloween movie?

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
