  1. You’re stronger than you think, it’s time you start giving yourself more credit.
  2. Telling someone how you feel is better than holding in it and constantly being in a state of “what if.” The worst that could happen is that they don’t feel the same way but it’s OK.
  3. If you’re worried that you made the wrong choice remember that you always learn more from your mistakes then you do from making the perfect decision.
  4. And make sure you own up to your mistakes. You'll earn more people's respect when you acknowledge that you messed up.
  5. Being disappointed in yourself only means that you know you can do better.
  6. Saying “No” is important. It is not your job to live for someone else, do what makes YOU the happiest.
  7. No one, absolutely no one, has the right to disrespect you. Stay away from those that make you feel like your hard to love.
  8. Loving someone too much is better than not loving them enough.
  9. It’s OK to be selfish once in a while. You don't always need to worry so much about everyone else.
  10. Stop comparing yourself to others. No one's life is as perfect as their Instagram makes it out to be.
  11. Everyone feels lonely sometimes, but never for a second think that you are alone. There is always someone there.
  12. It’s OK to shut your blinds and sleep for a little bit when you feel lost, but do not let life pass you by. Get yourself up and see what the world has to offer, even if you don’t really feel like it- you’ll be happy you did.
  13. You are the only person who can remove the weight in your chest. If you need to apologize to your sister, then call her and say you’re sorry. If you miss someone, tell them. If your in love with your best friend, let him know. Do not hold your feelings in because in the end, you’ll only regret the things you never said.
  14. If there is anything you want in this world, YOU have to go and get it. Do not expect everything to fall into your lap.
  15. Related: If there is something that you dislike about your life, it’s your responsibility to change it. No one else can do that for you.
  16. There’s nothing wrong with needing people. Stop thinking that you need to handle everything all by yourself. Everyone struggles and it’s OK to call for help when you need it.
  17. Sometimes you grow apart from people and that’s OK. Don't feel guilty about it.
  18. You don’t owe anybody an explanation. if you don’t want to do something, don’t do it.
  19. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. You never know what someone is dealing with.
  20. It’s natural to want to run away- from people, from feelings, from places, from life - but don’t. Challenge yourself to stay for once.
  21. You know that cute boy sitting across from you in class? Yeah, give him a chance. You won’t regret it.
  22. Find something that excites you and never give up on it.
  23. Somehow sh*t always works out in the end so stop stressing and take life one day at a time.
