Summer is the time to relax and kick back (and probably work so you can pay off those college dues). But sometimes, we forget about the simple things that made our childhood summers so great. So, here are 23 throwback activities to do this summer. While you're participating, maybe you'll remember some old memories and make a few new ones as well.

1. Fly a kite.

2. Go blow some bubbles.

3. Set up a homemade waterslide.

4. Go for a picnic.

5. Watch a movie at a drive-in theatre.

6. Go to a carnival.

7. Spend the day chalking up your driveway.

8. Have a water balloon fight with your friends.

9. Play a pick-up game of softball.

10. Go camping.

11. Fall asleep in a hammock.

12. Make s'mores.

13. Go to the nearest beach and make a sand castle.

14. Go on a bike ride.

15. Go to the zoo.
