As a senior in college, I should know a decent amount of stuff, right? Well, as I near 22, I realize that there's a lot that I don't know yet, and that's OK. I am still young and learning as I go. It seems as though the world wants us to know everything, that it is so important to know how to do certain things, as well as to have our lives planned out. Well, newsflash, it's OK to not know everything. In honor of turning 22, here's a list of 22 things I still don't know.

1. How to do my taxes.

S.O.S. please help me!

2. How to change a tire (in a real-life situation)

Sure, I learned how to do this in driver's ed, but do you actually expect me to remember this when I'm on the side of the freeway? That's why I have AAA.

3. How to do a handstand.

I'll probably never be able to do this, TBH.

4. Where I'll be in five years.

Fun to imagine, difficult to actually know.

5. How to make a pie.

This seems unnecessarily difficult, but I still want to learn.

6. How to grill burgers.

Probably easier than I think it actually is.

7. How to use Tinder.

I'm not even joking.

8. How to make coffee (not using a Keurig).

Again, not even joking.

9. How to take a full shot in one go.

This is something I'm not too concerned about mastering.

10. How to surf.

Hang ten?

11. How to photoshop pictures.

The closest I get to this is a really good filter on Instagram.

12. Where I want to live.

I'll go anywhere with an opportunity.

13. How to crochet.

This will come in handy if I move somewhere cold.

14. How to budget a paycheck.

College budget: food, tuition, bars.

15. How to efficiently use LinkedIn.

I know, I'm a n00b.

16. How to dive off a diving board.

Seriously, I can't do it.

17. How to tease hair.

You'd think I would know how to do this after being a cheerleader for six years.

18. How to take the perfect selfie.

Kim K, teach me your ways!!!

19. Where Carmen Sandiego is in the world.

But really, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

20. How to properly set a table.

I know there are two forks, but I don't know where they go.

21. How to jump a car.

Again, learned this in driver's ed, but I don't remember how to do it.

22. What someone has to do to become a Real Housewife.

Asking for a friend...

Sure, I may not know these things now, but give me some time and experience. That's what growing up is about, right?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
