The journey to bed is quite frankly long and time-consuming. There are endless things we do before hitting the bed. Let’s be honest; we all have our late night rituals. Some people’s night routines are just more intense than others. Regardless, they all wind up with you falling asleep while checking your phone. The following is the basic outline to everyone’s bed routine:
1. Eat a late snack.
2. Go to the hall’s study or social lounge to make sure everyone is not dying. (I’m looking at you, math students!)
3. Change into your lovely PJs.
4. Go to the restroom to prepare for bed...
5. Check social media.
6. Check your schedule for tomorrow, seeing if you have done all of the things that are due during the day.
7. Cry a little as you see all the meetings, assignments, and unnecessary things that are coming up.
8. Check the weather for tomorrow, thinking about the possible looks or outfit combinations for tomorrow. Is it a sweat, or casual, or dressy kind of day?
9. Belly flop into your wonderful, perhaps even magical, bed.
10. Check social media.
11. Watch some YouTube videos, maybe even watch some Netflix.
12. Make sure your phone is plugged in before going to bed.
13. Try to sleep.
14. Can’t fall asleep.
15. Watch some more YouTube videos, maybe even watch more Netflix.
16. Text a friend.
17. You get hungry again, but you tell yourself to stop being a fata$$.
18. Your self-control doesn’t work, so you put in the friend’s GroupMe if anyone wants to order food with you.
19. Nobody answers your desperate whale calls.
20. Check social media.
21. Wait a couple more minutes for someone to respond.
22. Fall asleep waiting...
