1. The second camp is over you start planning for next year.

2. As soon as December hits, it is acceptable to start counting months down until camp.

3. Other people's trash is your treasure. "I can totally use this for camp!"

4. Your Pinterest is full of camp ideas.

5. Waiting for summer is the hardest thing you've ever done.

6. Sometimes you forget you aren't at camp and what you are wearing is not acceptable in real life.

7. Your Snapchat is full of snaps to your fellow counselors telling them how much you miss them.

8. When you finally get to camp and you feel like you're finally home.

9. Nothing really grosses you out because you've seen it all.

10. Waking up early is hard but somehow camp makes it doable.

11. Meal time is the most stressful but the most interesting and crucial time of the day.

12. You always envision leaving camp with a luxurious tan but usually end up with a farmer's/flip flop tan.

13. You never thought you would be one to canoe and camp has proven...you were right you really aren't one to canoe.

14. When the final day of camp is approaching and you don't know how to handle your emotions.

15. When it finally does approach and you realize you won't see most of these people for a year.

16. Saving little parts of camp throughout the week that you'll keep and cherish forever.

17. Going home and not really feeling like you're home.

18. Knowing all too well that real life will never beat camp life.

19. Doing it all over again year after year because you love it that much.

20. Never being able to fully explain the camp experience to other people because it's just a camp thing.

21. Going home and missing those crisp mornings in sweatshirts and longing for those hot nights with your best friends.

22. Smelling your clothes after you get home to smell camp just one more time.
