Ikea has taken the world by storm through its spunky designs and practical products! Here are 22 reasons why Ikea is literally the best!

1. You can never miss it.

What other store is in a massive blue and yellow building?

2. The food is as good as the furniture.

Seriously, the meatballs are heavenly!

3. They create serious "house goals."

Who else can put a bedroom, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and living room in 391 square feet?

4. There is endless amounts of stuff.

You'll always find what you need, and you will always find what you don't need.

5. Everything is reasonably priced!

Why yes, I do need 30 candles for $2.99.

6. All of their products are on Pinterest.

"Jane Doe created a new board, Ikea Home Makeover."

7. It will turn you into a complete DIY king/queen.

Be careful! It can become addicting!

8. Everything is self-service.

Yes, you have to get it from the shelf. Yes, you have to assemble it when you get home.

9. All products come with easy instructions for assembly.

No words! Just pictures!

10. Transporting everything is no biggie.

Everything is packed into flat boxes to make packing your trunk a breeze!

11. You can test everything!

DO NOT TOUCH DISPLAYS! Ikea wants you to touch, sit, and even nap on the displays!

12. They are always changing the layout of the store.

The walls even move!

13. If you ever get lost, just follow the arrows on the main walkway.

Turn right in 6.5 feet.

14. There is a reason the walkway is never straight for very long.

There is a sharp turn every 50 feet to make sure you never get bored.

15. If you do get bored, just watch other customers.

No matter where you are, there are always couples arguing.

16. Every product has the most unique name.

Different product categories are named after Swedish names, towns, or islands. This system was devised by Ikea's creator, who was dyslexic and had trouble memorizing product numbers.

17. The bathrooms are always spotless!

You won't want to sprinkle when you tinkle...

18. It is family oriented.

They even have a free daycare!

19. You can play an epic game of hide-and-seek.

Ready or not, here I come!

20. It is the Disney World of furniture.

Welcome to the happiest place on Earth!

21. They care about the environment.

All of Ikea's products only use 1 percent of the world's commercial wood supply. Some stores even have gardens planted on the roof to help heat and cool the building more efficiently!

22. There is something for everyone!

Yes, you too!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
