22, A Million was released on September 30th, 2016 and if you're like me, you either pre-ordered it or bought it that day. This album released on the most perfect fall day, it was 49 degrees and I had a coffee in my hand while hearing these sweet tunes for the first time. It was beyond magical and here's some reactions to explain.

1. When 22, A Million finally downloads on your phone

22 (OVER S∞∞N)

2. After the first song plays and you sit there like:

3. When you realize that 22 stands for Justin Vernon's self and the whole album is about his two decades of searching for self-understanding like a religion.

10 d E A T h b R E a s T ⚄ ⚄

4. When you find out there's a sample of Stevie Nicks warming up to "Wild Heart" incorporated into the song

5. "Fuckified" he invented his own word, no biggie

715 - CRΣΣKS

6. The lyrics "Turn around, you're my A-Team" and the last few lines got ya feelin' like:

7. How this song is just electronic vocal distortion with no instrumentals and it gives you soft body vibrations.

33 “GOD”

8. "This is how we grow now, woman"

9. From 2:00-2:40 and it goes slow to intense and you're like:

29 #Strafford APTS

10. The whole second verse starting from "Hallucinating Clare" to the end layering vocals saying "Come and kiss me here again"

11. Then the 3rd chorus "I hold the note you wrote and know you've buried all your alimony butterflies" got you like:

12. When you hear subtle resemblance in the electronic beat to the American Horror Story theme song

13. The lyrics "F*** the fashion of it, dear" got you like:

21 M♢♢N WATER

14. Whenever he just sings mooooon water in that sultry, low voice.

15. The last minute that is a trippy mix of possible jazz, techno, radio static and who knows what else and you're just like:

8 (circle)

16. "I'm underneath your tongue"

17. "I'm standing in your street now and I carry his guitar"

____45_____

18. Vernon talks about this song and says, "it was just us making music as freely as humanly possible" and you just go:

19. When you realize the underscores in the title represents the number 45

00000 Million

20.The final line "Well it harms, it harms me, it harms, I'll let it in" and you're like:

21. Reading "A Million is the rest of that world: the millions of people who we will never know, the infinite and endless, everything outside one’s self that makes you who you are" from Vernon's friend and collaborating and going:

22. Then finishing the album and being like:

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
