The average human
Spends 27,375 days existing
Except I can't help but wonder
How many of those
Are actually spent living
I've come to discover
We're all just hanging
By knots and bits of thread
Because I've been struggling
This last 30 or so
To make it out of this bed
With a mind that never quiets
And thoughts always locked
On whats up ahead
I've come to believe
Most of us never
Make it out of
Our own head
It's surely taken some time
But I've come to learn
Many of us die
Long before we're dead
