21 Times Tina Belcher Was Actually You

Keeping up the façade that you seemingly have your entire life together can be exhausting. In trying to keep up with a plethora of social media personalities, others may potentially start to think that you're much more put-together than you actually are. Because I like to keep people humble, here's a little reminder to you and your followers that you are probably much more like Tina Belcher from Bob's Burgers than you would ever care to admit.

When Christmas is fast approaching and you’ve only got one thing on your list this year

When you haven’t started that paper that’s due tomorrow

When you’re trying to be flirty over text

And you’re fingers are typing too quick for your brain and you need to ABORT MISSION

When its Friday night and you’re #feelingyourself

But this is how you actually look next to your friends

And you're trying to pass along those digits

But then someone at the bar gets a little too close for comfort

When you wake up the morning after said night out

And you check your texts from 2:00 a.m.

When the mere thought of studying sends you spiraling

And you need to be strongly caffeinated if you're going to make it through the rest of your life

When you know you don’t need a boy to define you

But then you look back at that firemen calendar and you're like

When you realize you’re actually supposed to buy the products that the consultants at the MAC kiosk test on you

When your friends ask you for relationship advice

When in actuality the extent of your verbal abilities around attractive people sounds a little more like this

When you're tired of putting on a show for people

Because you know you're beautiful regardless of what anyone else says

And when you’re serving up some self-love realness

Because, like Tina, you are a smart, strong, sensual woman, and you are not afraid to show it

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
