It's finally here. The culmination of our college careers. Where did the time go? Wasn't it just Freshman move-in day?

To the Class of 2018: we've made it. We're finally seniors. All those late nights studying, fun times with friends, tough classes and important milestones are all coming to a bittersweet end. This coming May, we will be walking the stage and receiving our degrees. This day seemed so unreachable until now, and I'll admit it's kind of scary. We will all be "official" adults, expected to take on the world. I guarantee we will be reflecting upon all the wonderful memories that we've made and the experiences that we've had over these past few years. Here are some thoughts and feelings that incoming college seniors may have right now:

1. How did the summer go by so fast?

I was so busy between work/my internship and summer assignments that I didn't even have time to relax. I'm not ready to go back just yet.

2. I'm so excited to move into my apartment!

Yes, dorm life was fun, but now I have my own kitchen and roommates I actually chose to live with! I need to start shopping for furniture/appliances/decorations etc.

3. This is going to be my last ____

4. Finally 21!

I can now go to the bars and cool clubs where all the people my age are instead of the same places that all the younger underclassmen go.

5. I miss my family more now than I did Freshman year.

6. I'm getting so stressed out about post-grad life.

Where will I live? Will I even have a job? I pray that internship I did looks good on my resume.

7. The year is going by too fast!

Slow down!

8. I hope my friends and I are just as close after we graduate as we are now.

I'll miss seeing them everyday!

9. Maybe this will be the year I finally get into a relationship.

10. Awww look at ____

I'm so nostalgic right now! Nostalgic moments become more frequent and about the most random things.

11. I took so much for granted these past few years.

I wish I appreciated everything more.

12. I'm so ready to graduate and move on with my life.

13. I'm so glad I got through * insert tough time/situation here* it's made me a stronger, mature person

14. *Frantically job searches during any free time*

15. There's literally nothing new or exciting about campus anymore.

16. Wow I had no idea that we had ____ here!

Wish I knew about it earlier!

17. I'm not going to count down my last weekends and nights out I'm not going to count down my last weekends and nights out (can't help but do so).

18. Sometimes I don't even know who I am anymore.

I've changed so much.

19. If I could go back in time and tell my freshman self what I know now, things would be a lot different.

20. I need to do everything that I never got the chance to do during college within these last few months.

21. "Do I really have to graduate or can I just stay here for the rest of my life?"

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
