21 Things You Still Ask Your Mom And Dad At 21

Let's face it, even though we're 21 and up now and have somehow made it to that right of passage, we still have plenty of questions about life for our parents. And honestly, some of these I will probably never stop asking.

1. "Can you put some more money in my account for gas and groceries?"

2. “Can these clothes go in the dryer?"

3. *Sends mom picture of something on body* “Does this look normal?"

4. “I can’t find (insert item) at the grocery store, which isle is it in?”

5. “What does this light that keeps flashing in my car mean?”

6. “I’ve had this cough for three days; do you think I have (insert disease you probably don’t have)?

7. “I took Advil four hours ago, is it safe to take another one?”

8. “Can I cook this in the microwave? How long?”

9. “Can you just call the doctor’s office and tell them?”

10. “Why doesn’t my chicken taste like your chicken?”

11. “Should I take this interview”?

12. “Can I use the credit card to order (insert item you probably don’t need)?”

13. *Shopping for clothes, sends multiple pictures to mom* “Which shirt do you like better? Can I get both?”

14. “How do I jump my car?”

15. “Why did I get this tax form in the mail and what am I supposed to do with it?”

16. “I just ate humus and it expired a week ago, will I be okay?”

17. “This job application is asking for my social security number, am I supposed to put it on there? Also, what is my social security number?”

18. “Can I have the Netflix password?”

19. “How many stamps do I put on this letter?”

20. “What’s our family medical history?”

21. “How would I survive without you”?

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
