If you’re anything like me, you love hard. Once you love someone, there’s no turning back. Our lives, although full of love, can be quite difficult at times because we expect everyone to show their love just as much as we do… which is an expectation that in return, gives us a lot of heartache. We are certainly one-of-a-kind and to anyone who is lucky enough to date us, here are 21 things you need to know:

  1. We will show our love in ways you cannot imagine.
  2. Do not be intimidated or alarmed by how much we show you and tell you we love you.
  3. We may come on strong, but please, please give us a chance.
  4. We often get frustrated by the lack of words to tell you how we feel.
  5. Know that even when we are extremely mad at you, we will never stop loving you.
  6. A little goes a long way with us.
  7. We put you on a pedestal, we look up to you and truly believe you are the best. Please do not let us down.
  8. We fall quickly and we fall hard.
  9. Although it may be easy to do at times, please do not take advantage of us always being there.
  10. Occasionally we need a little reminder of how much you love us. We try to understand that not everyone can love the same way we do.
  11. We will go to the end of the world to make you smile.
  12. We put all of our heart into everything we do for you. Take a little time to appreciate our effort.
  13. Loving hard is the only thing we know. We can not choose to love you any less.
  14. We often think of perfect scenarios in our head and get disappointed when they do not happen. It is not your fault.
  15. Expect every single one of our friends, family members, and coworkers to know little details about you, we love to talk about you.
  16. We forgive easily, but don’t test us. We do have our breaking points, they are just far, far past what a normal people's are.
  17. We tend to overthink every single thing. It’s just the way we are wired. We might need your help from time to time in order to calm us down.
  18. We’re not clingy. We are not crazy. We just really enjoy you and your presence.
  19. We’ve been hurt time after time again. We know what it is like to be broken, to experience pain, but we are very strong and resilient.
  20. We are not naïve, we just look for the best in people, and celebrate everything people have to offer.
  21. Above all, we are special. We are unlike any girl you’ve ever dated. If you are lucky enough to be loved by us, do not let us go.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
