21 Things I Want To Remind My Boyfriend

To My Boyfriend,

I know I frequently express how much I love and appreciate you, but I don't want you to ever forget how exceptional you are and how highly I think of you, so I figured I would make a list of a few things that make you incredible.

Here are twenty-one things I want to remind you of and don't want you to ever forget:

1. I genuinely appreciate everything you do for me.

Whether it's giving me a ride, paying for my meal or just doing me a small favor, I appreciate it and am grateful for all you do.

2. I do actually think you're funny, even if I always roll my eyes at your jokes.

3. I love adventuring with you.

Driving around going nowhere or traveling abroad, we always have so much fun.

4. I am proud of you.

I see how hard you work at everything you do and you make me so proud.

5. You always make me feel loved, which I thank you for.

6. I admire how charismatic you are.

You're always the first one on the dance floor.

7. I love how we can goof around together and act like little kids.

8. There is nobody else like you in this world (and I mean that in a good way).

You are truly unique.

9. You make me excited for the future.

We have so much traveling and exploring left to do.

10. Your support means everything to me.

11. Spending time with you is my favorite thing to do.

It doesn't matter if we are watching Netflix or going out for the night, as long as we are together, it's a great time.

12. You are so thoughtful and considerate and that means so much to me.

13. You don't give yourself enough credit.

You are amazing, even though you don't always realize it.

14. You always make me smile.

15. The memories we have made together are some of my favorite memories ever.

At the beach, in Europe, in the city - it's all been incredible.

16. I love the person you are.

17. I love the fact that I can truly be myself around you.

You never judge me for anything.

18. I admire your outlook on life.

You are so positive and encouraging.

19. You are my best friend.

20. You mean so much to me.

21. I love you.

You are truly a light in this world.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows.
