Do you want to try new things, make fun memories, enjoy the hot weather and most importantly, eat great food this summer? Spice your summer up by enjoying the many attractions and places Cleveland has to offer. You may be surprised at all the memories you will make and fun you can have all while staying so close to home. Explore our beautiful city this summer and discover all it has to offer!

1. Support the Tribe and go to an Indians game on Dollar Dog night. You may even be able to catch fireworks on certain nights!

2. Ride roller coasters at Cedar Point.

3. Enjoy fresh food while spending a morning at the West Side Market.

4. Spend a day with friends and family on the shores of Lake Erie.

5. Go hiking in the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks or Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

6. Spend a day at the beach at Edgewater Park.

7. Listen to great music at an outdoor concert at Jacobs Pavillion at Nautica.

8. Make some furry friends at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

9. Participate in one of the many 5k runs held in Cleveland this summer like the Color Run.

10. Embrace your love for pasta and all things Italian and go to the Feast at Little Italy.

11. Grab some popcorn and catch a movie at the Auto-Rama drive-in movie theatre.

12. Channel your inner country boy/girl and go to a country concert at Blossom this summer.

13. Have a night out and try out the different bars and restaurants on East 4th street.

14. Have breakfast/brunch in little restaurants of Ohio City like Jack Flaps.

15. Grab a funnel cake, meet some farm animals and enjoy a day spent at the Cuyahoga County Fair.

16. Visit Whiskey Island and watch the spectacular firework show on the Fourth of July.

17. Pick a Saturday and visit the Cleveland Flea on Superior to find unique and homemade treasures.

18. Spend a day at the Cleveland Aquarium.

19. Try your luck at the Jack Cleveland Casino.

20. Dress up and catch a show at Playhouse Square.

21. Gather your family and friends for a cookout at Huntington Beach in Bay Village and enjoy some sweet frozen treats at Honey Hut.

So, don't settle for a boring summer spending your only time off from work sitting in bed watching Netflix for hours. Go out there and find different things to do and events to go to. You don't have to look hard to find some fun, small events that will help this summer be full of unforgettable memories!
