21 Things I Have My Father To Thank For
Daily Women Time

My Dad is the best Dad in the entire world, hands down. I owe it all to him, the one who’s taught me to live simply, and to find joy in the little things. Father's Day is just an excuse to brag about him a little more than usual. Here's to you, Dad.

  • 1)Thank you for being my biggest fan.
  • 2)Thank you for pushing me to be my best in my sport, and in life in general.
  • 3)Thank you for being strict with me when it was necessary to.
  • 4)Thank you for working so hard to give me the best life possible.
  • 5)Thank you for always making me laugh, even when I’m in my worst mood.
  • 6)Thank you for teaching me not to take life too seriously.
  • 7)Thank you for showing me the best music (country music, of course).
  • 8)Thank you for giving me my best friends, my siblings.
  • 9)Thank you for always being there and for answering my unending phone calls.
  • 10) Thank you for the endless financial support.
  • 11) Thank you for always letting me borrow your hats and oversized sweatshirts.
  • 12) Thank you for being the best teacher, from teaching me to ride a bike to driving a car.
  • 13) Thank you for showing me the world.
  • 14) Thank you for showing me all the greatest movies.
  • 15) Thank you for being the “cool Dad”.
  • 16) Thank you for always being invested in my life.
  • 17) Thank you for all the advice (sometimes based on movie quotes).
  • 18) Thank you for always being on my side.
  • 19) Thank you for choosing my beautiful mother to spend your life with.
  • 20) Thank you for giving me a model to compare my future boyfriends to.
  • 21) Thank you for being the best example of a great person overall for my siblings and I.

I truly thank God everyday for your guidance and support, and for just being you. I’ll love you forever, and you’ll always be my favorite guy.

Xoxo,

Your little girl

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
