Mississippi State is a place like no other and has a special place in my heart. One thing that sets MSU apart from others is the number of beautiful traditions we have. From Cowbells to cheese fries at Bin 612 to the Dude, we have a large range of traditions that make MSU the place we call home. These traditions are great, but let's be honest, every time you open up Snapchat stories you see the same stories, just posted by different people, which might cause a slightly different view.

Even if you don't go to MSU, but your friends with someone on Snapchat that does go to MSU chances are you have even seen these Snapchats pop up on your story. Don't get me wrong I love seeing these and being reminded of how great MSU is. I just have noticed a larger quantity of Snapchat stories from these events/people/places.

Here's a list of Snapchats the typical MSU student has probably posted on their story within their time as a student (or maybe even visiting) here:

1. Cowbells at a football game

2. Propping your feet up on the seat in front of you at the Dude

3. Late night studying in McCool and complaining about your life

4. Getting cheese fries at Bin 612 on a night during the weekend

5. Videoing any and every concert in Starkville

6. Videoing any and every fraternity band party

7. An artsy sunset in Starkville

8. Putting a picture of the lake at the Refuge

9. Someone (or even you) walking to class

10. A picture of the front of your sorority/fraternity house after a long break

11. Getting coffee at 929 coffee and working on homework

12. People who end up riding the Greek bus alone

13. Blowing up Snapchat from any date party or swap

14. Getting Insomnia Cookies

15. A picture of a basketball going on at the Hump and using the Hump's filter

16. An artsy (or an attempt to be artsy) picture of the Chapel of Memories

17. The inside of the chapel of memories

18. Studying in the library but actually watching Netflix

19. A picture of the Drill Field with the time and temperature

20. Football players running out onto the field

21. Seeing a dog on campus

22. Trips to Cookout

23. A person sleeping in a common area and saying "Story of my life"

24. Someone who has parked terribly

25. Getting a parking ticket and posting about your frustration towards Parking Services

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
