College is that awkward stage where teenagers and twenty-somethings are wandering around trying to figure out how to "adult," and how to find all the loopholes they can while also taking on a new, much bigger world. The world is your oyster, but unfortunately, you'll probably go home with food poisoning.
1. You haven’t gone to the grocery store in, well, you don’t even know how long
2. And when you do go, you have the budget to afford about half a stick of butter
3. Your planner looks like the aftermath of a catastrophe- a color coded catastrophe
4. People barging into your room is something that doesn’t phase you, even though sometimes it probably should
5. You grab any and all of the free stuff you can
6. You get creative with how to bring food back- in bulk- from the dining halls/anywhere that has food
6. You feel a certain contempt for a little something called “TopHat”
7. “What’s the address?”
8. The pure bliss you feel when you get the “Class is cancelled” email
9. You weren’t a fan of public transportation? Now, you are.
10. You used to need silence to sleep? Now, you definitely don’t.
11. A lot of the times you fall asleep, it's definitely not in a bed
12. You don’t have the luxury of toilet paper with more than one, painfully thin ply
13. Your laundry pile is really more of a questionably large mountain
14. You've seen pretty much everything that Netflix has to offer
15. Home cooked meals are a thing of dreams
16. You’ve never been busier, yet you still agree to going out
17. Even though the studying never ends
18. And you've never been more broke
19. You know how to finish an assignment in record breaking time, on a book you never read, the night before it’s due, and get a good grade
20. Calling your parents has become a daily norm
21. You also have huge amounts of pride for your school and all the craziness that comes with it, regardless of all its challenges
