21 Reasons Why Shiba Inus are the Best Dogs Ever

After 14 years I finally convinced my parents that we were ready to get a dog. After many long hours of debating which type of dog to get, we settled on a Shiba Inu (thank you Nintendogs). Bringing that fuzzy little puffball into our lives was one of the best things that has happened to me. If you have a Shiba Inu, then you fully know the joy that I am talking about. If you don't have a Shiba Inu, you are missing out on so much cuteness, and hair. If you're considering a Shiba Inu, here is 21 reasons why they are the best dogs ever.

1. They start out looking like this.

It's like your own personal bear cub.

2. They are sassy.

3. Their tail looks like a curly fry.

4. You can do this with their face.

5. The red ones look like a fox.

6. They come in different colors.

They come in black and tan, red, cream, and sesame.

7. They're just so happy.

8. They love their owners.

9. They know how to dress in style.

10. They look like this in the snow.

11. They're smart.

12. They're not afraid to pick on you.

13. They double as super heroes.

14. They're content, even in sticky situations.

15. They pretend to be big and tough, but they're not.

16. They like to snuggle up in a blanky.

17. They're good at sports.

18. They enjoy long bike rides.

19. Look at this face.

Do you really need any other reason?

20. They look adorable in bandanas.

21. They make great best friends.

A life without Nikko by my side, is not a life I am interested not in. I have been so blessed to call him my partner in crime for five years now. If you are considering adopting a Shiba Inu, I recommend it completely. Of course, you need to be certain that a Shiba will be the right fit for your family. They are loyal bundles of joy, but tend to be aloof, and stubborn-headed. They require a lot of training and socializing when they are young and cannot be given slack. When trained properly, you can look forward to a life time of memories and joy. There is never a dull moment in a Shiba's company.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
