I just graduated college and moved into my first apartment by myself. It's my first time living without a roommate and everyone keeps asking me if I'm enjoying living alone. How could I not be?! Besides the fact that I need to remind myself that it's important to have social interactions, living by myself is definitely my favorite part about being an adult so far. Here are just a few of the reasons I've discovered so far that make living alone the best:
1. You can use the bathroom without closing the door.
2. Freedom to fart whenever,where ever and however loudly you want.
3. You don't have to worry about waking up your roommate when you stumble home drunk or vice versa.
4. You can have people over whenever you want.
5. You never have to wait for anyone to get out of the bathroom to pee or shower.
6. No one steals your food. Or more importantly your alcohol.
7. You have complete control over the TV.
8. There's no one to judge you for sleeping all day.
9. Impromptu karaoke and dance parties happen on the regular.
10. You don't have to make small talk.
11. You never have to wear pants or a bra.
12. There's no fight for cupboard space.
