Let's get this straight: I do not hate basketball and actually quiet enjoy the sport!!

March Madness stresses me out and it happens so fast that if you don't already have a bracket filled out starting February 17th you're already losing. This happens to me every year.

If you don't care about basketball, then make some of these brackets!

1. Trump administration

There are tons of open positions in the current administration, so what better way to watch everything burn than create a bracket for who will take what spot?! Way more entertaining than basketball.

2. Deciding what Netflix show to watch next

It's so complicated, especially when you've watched every early-2000s-teen-coming-of-age-drama series. Ugh.

3. President 2020

We're only 2 years away from a new president, which means midterms are coming soon and so will the beginnings of campaigns. Start placing your bets now!!

4. Hottest basketball player in the NBA

They're all tall and muscular so I really won't be mad who wins.

5. Hottest basketball player in the NCAA

If I start to slide into some DMs now, will I get a trophy husband by the time I graduate??

6. RuPaul's Drag Race contestants

This fandom is insane. They probably already know who's going to be on the next next next season. I would do research before entering any bracket.

7. Where to go for brunch

With so many places offering different specials, how do you choose?? ... okay just put down the names with the best boozy brunch, then go from there.

8. Where to go in your town to avoid the most people possible

I'm talking the run down grocery store with the really old checkout person, the bad sushi place and a Wawa at least 3 miles away.

9. Best food delivery services

Between UberEats, GrubHub, Favor, Postmates... how do you keep track?? Who has the best rates?? Who is fastest?? I NEED TO KNOW.

10. Trying Pinterest recipes

All of these mom bloggers know what's up. I would trust them with my life. But who has the best recipe for a southwestern chicken salad??

11. Podcasts

I once said that NPR was the first podcast, and I still believe in that statement. When did millennials get into podcasts?? LMK.

12. Best 90s toy

My frontrunner is the Tamagotchi. That's all.

13. Where to vacation/travel next

If it's cheap then it doesn't matter. But a bracket would be nice to decide.

14. Books

Um, if you didn't read "Big Little Lies," what are you doing?? Enter the best books of 2017 please.

15. Next Sephora purchase

This place stresses me out already so going in with a clear idea of what to purchase helps me immensely.

16. Starbucks drinks

We can all say that the cherry mocha sounds disgusting, and an iced skinny vanilla latte will definitely win.

17. What to order for take out

If all the options are placed in front of me, I would maybe be able to make a better choice. Or like, stop ordering food so much.

18. Best Trader Joe's frozen meal

I think they're all delicious so every single one might become a winner.

19. Disney Channel Original Movies

Please do not forget "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century" when creating your bracket.

20. Memes

Top 2017 memes only.

21. Vines

My friends and I only talk in Vine quotes and if you feel like taking risks on your friendships, I would compete in a bracket like this

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
