Each year, we fall into a routine. Typically, from year to year the routine varies. However, 2020 has taken a turn. Seeing as we're halfway through the year, here are some highlights you won't want to forget.

January 7, 2020

The World Health Organization is notified of coronavirus.

January 16, 2020

The impeachment of Donald Trump takes way.

January 20, 2020

Washington records the first case of coronavirus in the US.

January 26, 2020

Kobe and Gigi Bryant are killed in a helicopter crash along with passengers.

February 5, 2020

President Donald Trump was acquitted on both articles of impeachment.

March 10, 2020

The first country to go on a nationwide lockdown is Italy.

March 13, 2020

Trump declares national emergency due to coronavirus.

March 16, 2020

Dow has the greatest drop since 1987 losing 2,997 points.

March 24, 2020

Olympics are postponed.

Overall, the first three months were very eventful. We are living a historic year.

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
