My Predicted Winner Of The 2019 Bachelorette, Bracket Style
Rebecca Miller

In This Article:

The first rose ceremony has aired and the 2019 bachelorette, Hannah Brown, has begun her publicized search for the love of her life.

In the first episode, we see Hannah open herself up to the possibility of love, cuddle up with a few lucky bachelors, and lay down the hammer on anyone who isn't there for the right reasons. During this episode, some contestants try to capture her attention and steal her heart through opening conversations, while others sit on the main couch and complain that they have no time with her.

Drama is introduced within the mansion, and we receive sneak peeks of what could occur in the near future.

Please enjoy my attempt of determining who Hannah's perfect match is based off first impressions at the mansion, and their on-paper lives.

Round 1

AND THE COMPETITION HAS BEGUN!

First off, because of the pre-impression and first impression roses, both Luke P. and Cam are immediately placed into the second round bracket.

As for the rest of them...

Devin v Dylan - Both are employed and from California. But what stood out to me is Devin has been in many long term relationships, which makes me wonder why none of them have worked out. Could it be because he was made for Hannah?? Maybe but highly unlikely, seeing as Dylan's heart of gold stands out as a quality Hannah would enjoy. Dylan co-founded a fitness company that helps feed hungry people and has a tattoo on his chest for his parents. As well as being a sports fan just like Hannah!

Dustin v Brian - Brian, although coming across as a sweet southern puppy dog man who likes to help educate children, his calculated demeanor led to a nervous and shaky introduction that lacked confidence. While Dustin acted like he was the real estate he was selling, by bringing up that this was their second meeting and they already had a connection. He also has an adorable bulldog dog to balance out Hannah's retrievers.

Tyler G. v Connor J - Sorry Tyler G., but no competition here. His strongest line was she's "the girl of his dreams", and that doesn't cut it when you're a soul cycling grad student competing against a charismatic door next door type who is financially stable from convincing people what is the best.

Kevin v Jonathan - Hannah B. eagerly yearns for a true gentleman, and she might find this in Kevin. Jonathan brings to the table his love for clubbing and his religious devotion, but when looking to settle down, Kevin appears to be a bigger family man with a steady job and ready for marriage.

Daron v Matt Donald - Howdy MaTt DOnaLd, wait whoops, you're from Los Gatos California and rode in on a tractor to pose as a southern gentleman to win Hannah's heart. Sure you may have the props, but Daron, the football-crazed IT consultant for Georgia, is an actual southern gentleman who is looking for a leading woman to take charge in his life.

Garrett v Grant - For being 30 and unemployed, Grant sure is a bit full of himself. Literally, nobody can lose to someone with a head big enough for both him and Hannah. So free pass for our favorite "sister-in-law signed me up" guy, aka Garrett.

Chasen v Peter - It's battle of the pilots and Hannah only needs one man to fly into her heart. I feel slightly bad for soft-spoken Chasen, but if you prefer to spend your time as the sidekick who drinks cocktails with mom for fun, then nothing can be done when a boisterous uniform wearing pilot nosedives in to steal your leading lady.

Luke S. v Matteo - An outspoken northerner who desires to wed a southern belle even though they lack common interests versus a timid management consultant from Georgia with future career goals… We stan the future thinking Matteo instead of Luke S. whose biggest achievement is claiming to have made Emily Ratajkowski blush.

Tyler C. v John - Oh John Paul Jones where do I start with you. How about the villainous glares he shot at Hannah as the final rose neared in the first rose ceremony? He made it clear that he is way classier and more intelligent than any of the other competitors, as he states his hobby is contemplating life, he loves to sip bubbly, and rarely uses words under three syllables long (because he's just that cool). I have disregarded his horrendous personality as something Hannah B. would never be interested in, and have looked to Tyler C. whos biggest flaw is that he is just so "stoked" to be there.

Joe v Mike - Mike is not southern, but a well weathered Texan whos time in the armed forces established discipline and routine, meaning he's ready to work as a team in a relationship. He sets the bar pretty high, and vegas obsessed box king Joe does not come close.

Joey v Thomas - The lack of effort and connection put forward by Thomas aka Mr. Fourth Quarter, really showed and his elimination is up to his own faulty wooing tactics. On the other hand, Joey's age has allowed him to travel the world and discover what he really yearns for in his life. Now he is ready to find a picket fenced in house and drive the minivan.

Ryan v Connor S. - Somebody got a smooch and somebody went home… Sayonara to the Philly native who blamed the Scott drama on his inability to talk to a woman. And helLOOOO to our sweaty charming Connor S. who loves traveling, music and family.

Jed v Hunter - Bro (@ Hunter), sure your job requires you to take off your shirt and flex around in the water, but it doesn't scream stability and relationship ready when you quit your steady job at WSL to pursue an unreliable athletic career. This unreliability doesn't hold up when Jed pulls up with a guitar and the key to Hannah's heart. His career as a singer/songwriter yet again sounds like teeming unemployment, but at least Hannah loves the product of his creative energy.

Scott v Mathew - We don't typically root for those who have a girlfriend at home, so BYE Scott and welcome Mathew into the race for Hannah's heart.

Round 2

https://www.printyourbrackets.com

Things are getting real ladies and gents, we are down to the final 8.

Luke P. v Dylan - "LUKE LUKE LUKE LUKE". I must admit when Luke first walked onto my television screen his vibes screamed douche. BUT statistically the first impression rose recipients always do well or win, and with Hannah's strong feelings for him, I think their relationship will be more developed at this point than Dylan and Hannahs. Sorry Dyl!

Dustin v Connor J. - Here we have a battle of the family man/boys-next-door. After reviewing their personal statements, I believe that Dustin's mama loving dog owner facade will reign supreme over anti gossip Connor J...

Kevin v Daron - Kevin's Achilles heel with Hannah will prove to be putting his gym addiction over her. In contrast to this lack of love, Daron the teddy bear will shower Hannah in all of the attention she craves.

Garrett v Peter - I'm sorry Garrett but you do not seem ready for marriage, knowing your sister-in-law signed you up for the bachelorette, she was probably trying to force you to mature. Our charming pilot may be good at covering up his flaws, but right now he appears to be ready for Hannah. We'll find out soon if Hannah is ready for him...

Cam v Matteo - Cam's lasting pre impression rose holds strong and beats out Matteo and his 114 children.

Tyler C. v Mike - Tyler C. is Hannah B.'s soulmate, fight me (sorry Mike).

Joey v Connor S. - Joey seems like a solid choice because of how serious he is about commitment and starting a family, but Connor S.'s fun-loving, exploring personality is just up Hannah's alley.

Jed v Mathew - Mathew's goals to work at his families winery establish his life in California without any flexibility for Hannah, while Jed's personality and his singing just show Hannah his fun side.

Round 3

https://www.printyourbrackets.com

Luke P. v Dustin - LUKE LUKE LUKE nuf said.

Daron v Peter - Daron's charismatic and homey personality will show Hannah a future with someone who will be there for her.

Cam v Tyler C.- Cam was only there because of the initial splash he made, and now it's Tyler's time to shine by holding all of the background and current characteristic and familial traits Hannah desires.

Connor S. Jed - Jed had a good run by winning over Hannah with his musical declaration of love, but under that and his surface charm, he doesn't have a steady base for settling down and a family.

Round 4

https://www.printyourbrackets.com

Luke P. v Daron - Luke P... After initially stealing our bachelorette's heart, Luke P. could not emotionally open himself up enough to give Hannah reassurance of her choice, so she went straight to her safe favorite, Daron.

Tyler C. v Connor S. - Connor S. put up a good fight, but Tyler C.'s family love and coastal charm, is a twist of the sweet southern boy she's always wanted.

Round 5 (FINALSSSS)

WE HAVE A WINNER:

Daron v Tyler C. - After a long winding road toward love, Hannah B. and Tyler C. have emerged as the best couple of all of the contestants.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
