The summer months are upon us, and that means time is ticking to start the college football season. It is never too early to put together a top 25. As the powerhouses continue to float at the top, the changing of coaches and the rise in recruiting gives other teams the opportunity to be the dark horse of the season.
With that said, here is a look at a top 25 ranking for 2018:
25. South Carolina Gamecocks
24. Memphis Tigers
23. Texas Longhorns
22. Texas A&M Aggies
21. UCF Knights
20. Florida State Seminoles
19. TCU Horned Frogs
18. Oklahoma State Cowboys
