Summer is by far my favorite time of the year, and I am a huge fashion fanatic, so I have a lot of fashion inspiration during this time. There's an endless amount of different options and trends you can put together with Summer clothing that just wouldn't work or be appropriate in the Winter. While I don't have a label on my style, I do have a lot of trends that I seem to stick to, like bohemian. But Summer is the time to reach outside the box when it comes to fashion. Wear a styes of color that you usually wouldn't during another time of year, Here are a few of the Summer trends I'm so excited to wear out this season!

1. Stripes

One of my favorite clothing styles are stripes. I feel as if they are extremely flattering and just pleasing to the eye. If given the choice between a plain or striped tee, I always choose stripes. You could wear black and white stripes with another statement color, or colored stripes with black and white. The options are endless! People have also started to pair stripes on stripes, and if you can pull it off, I'm all here for it.

2. Gingham

One of my favorite patterns at the moment is gingham. I've had a few pieces of clothing in this style before, but recently I've seen it become a huge fashion trend. I'm not complaining though, because I think it is so incredibly cute and it's a perfect go-to Summer look! Gingham dresses are my current obsession and I've been on the hunt to find yellow shorts in the pattern. Fingers crossed!

3. Demin Jackets

Jackets may seem like a winter piece, but never forget that Summer nights tend to get a little chilly. A perfect solution to this is a denim jacket! I picked up my jean jacket that I am absolutely obsessed with at Marshall's early this year, and I throw it together with everything I wear. Mine has patches on it and I love that, but I'm also thinking about putting some cute pins on it. (A men's jean jacket also works because they'll have a loose fit which is trendy and comfortable!)

4. Pearl Necklaces

Everyone needs a little something to add to an outfit, and a trendy accessory is a simple pearl necklace. They can make any outfit look more feminine and classy! While I prefer the regular kind, many people have been wearing them as chokers which also looks adorable! They can really make an outfit look more put together.

6. Off The Shoulder Dresses

Lastly, I've seen a wave of popularity with off the shoulder dresses. Now in many colors and styles, they are extremely flattering and accentuate all the right places. My personal favorite way to wear these is maxi style because it makes the dress look classier and can be dressed up or down. This is a must have for the Summer!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
