The Michigan - Ohio State game was an instant classic. Both teams fought through regulation and overtime (and a controversial Fourth Down ruling) but, Ohio State came on top to finish the regular season at 11-1. Interestingly enough, although the Buckeyes are number two on my list, they will not be playing for their conference championship game this weekend as Wisconsin will play Penn State for the Big Ten Championship this Saturday in Indianapolis. The Playoff Committee will have a difficult time deciding who's in after next week's games, as an argument could be made that a Big Ten Champion Wisconsin/Penn State team deserves to play for a National Championship. Alabama will square off against familiar SEC Championship foe, Florida, as the two meet this Saturday in Atlanta. Alabama has defeated Florida the previous five times the two have met and a win (or close loss) will be enough to put the Tide back in the Playoffs for the third consecutive season. Oklahoma State travels to Norman to face rival Oklahoma in a battle of two teams with an outside chance to make the playoffs. Everything is shaping up for a fantastic Championship Weekend and we should know more after the conclusion of Saturday's games.
Here's my top 25 ranking for this week.
