College football is finally back this week! The first full week provides plenty of great matchups such as USC-Alabama, OU-Houston, and Florida State-Ole Miss, but the rest of the season should be full of ecstasy, agony, and, of course, upsets! In order to be fully prepared for another great season, sit back, relax, and read about the major conferences: who will win each conference, coaches who are on the hot seat, the team most likely to disappoint, and the team who could be a surprise contender. Oh, and also about the teams who will be the final four in the College Football Playoff as well as the national championship winner. Enjoy!


American Athletic Conference

American East Winner: South Florida

American West Winner: Houston

Conference Champion: Houston over South Florida
