The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards was definitely a night to remember. The show was full of unforgettable performances that had the crowd on their feet. Beyoncé led the pack for musicians with 11 nominations. She ended up collecting eight VMA awards, making her the most decorated artist at the VMA's. Beyoncé now has 21 VMA awards, passing Madonna with 20 all-time. Beyoncé also performed for a 15-minute-long period, running through tracks from her newest album "Lemonade".
The night was also a big one for Rihanna who performed four separate times during the show and received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Britney Spears also performed on the VMA stage for the first time since 2007, performing "Make Me," her newest single, with a cameo added by rapper G-Eazy.
