The 2016 MLB season has been as wild and unpredictable than anyone could have ever imagined. From the Chicago Cubs being the best team in the league thus far to the defending World Series Champion Kansas City Royals not being in the playoff picture, it is definitely something baseball fans are not used to seeing. With a little over a month left in regular season, this is the perfect time for teams and players to start heating up. There is no clear favorite to win the World Series this year, but it sure looks like it is going to be a National League team who will be crowned champions. With the end of the season approaching quickly, here are some predictions for who will win each division, each league, MVP's, rookies of the year, Cy Young, and the World Series.
National League Central: This is the easiest division to pick a winner in because of how dominant one particular team has been all season long. This team came out of nowhere last season and made a deep playoff run but eventually fell to the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series. So far this year, the eventual 2016 NL Central division winner Chicago Cubs have been stellar and will once again make a deep run in the playoffs. The Cubs will not be the only playoff team from this division as the St. Louis Cardinals will claim a Wild Card spot. Winner: Chicago Cubs
American League Central: At the moment, it looks like this division race is down to two teams: the Detroit Tigers and the Cleavland Indians. The Indians have been dominant all year long, especially against the Tigers, and it does not look like they are going to slow down anytime soon. Detroit will keep pace with Cleavland but will fall short of first place and will have to settle for a Wild Card spot. Winner: Cleavland Indians
National League East: While this division is not as easy to choose a winner as the NL Central was, it is still relatively easy. The Washington Nationals have also been dominant all year, especially starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg. They have a pretty nice lead over both the Mets and the Marlins and show no signs of giving that lead up. Winner: Washington Nationals
American League East: This is a tough one. The Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, and Boston Red Sox are all within reach of the division title. This will be one of the more interesting races to watch as these three teams will battle it out to the very end of the season. The Jays are looking to repeat, the Sox are playing for Ortiz, and the Orioles are looking to prove doubters wrong. While all three teams are looking good, the Toronto Blue Jays will prevail and take the division for a second consecutive year. Boston will have some luck and magic on their side as well, they will take the second Wild Card spot in the American League. Winner: Toronto Blue Jays
National League West: Yet another tough division to win. Both the LA Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants are both fighting for that top spot. The Dodgers are currently without their ace and one of the best pitchers in the MLB, Clayton Kershaw, but he is expected back in September which will be the difference maker in the division. The Giants will put up a strong fight but they will finish second and have a spot in the Wild Card. Winner: LA Dodgers
American League West: The final division has been run by the Texas Rangers for quite some time now and they look like they are going to keep their first place spot. The Houston Astros have been gaining ground on the Rangers as of late, but they will likely stay in second place and have to fight for a spot in the Wild Card, but will fall short. Winner: Texas Rangers
National League Champion: The team who will represent the National League in the 2016 World Series will be the Washington Nationals. The Nats will defeat the Chicago Cubs in seven games in the National League Championship Series to punch their ticket to the World Series. Winner: Washington Nationals
American League Champion: The American League Championship Series will be decided in six games and it will be the Toronto Blue Jays who will punch their ticket to the World Series by defeating the Texas Rangers in a rematch from last years playoff matchup. Winner: Toronto Blue Jays
National League MVP: Clayton Kershaw, Starting Pitcher, LA Dodgers
American League MVP: Jose Altuve, Second Base, Houston Astros
National League Rookie of the Year: Corey Seager, Shortstop, LA Dodgers
American League Rookie of the Year: Michael Fulmer, Starting Pitcher, Detroit Tigers
National League Cy Young: Stephen Strasburg, Washington Nationals
American League Cy Young: Rick Porcello, Boston Red Sox
2016 World Series Champion: Washington Nationals win in six games over the Toronto Blue Jays
