I would first like to point out the fact that there are many people of color nominated for acting roles. In fact, Aziz Ansari is the first South Asian actor to be nominated for a lead role. The entertainment world is looking a little more exciting with these noms and the awards from the Tonys, especially after the Academy Awards. Anyone remember #OscarsSoWhite??? I do.
