22 Disney Channel Shows Every 2000s Kid Will Be Quoting Into Their 20s And Beyond

In This Article:

The Disney Channel was the heart of our childhood television watching. From cartoons to pre-teen shows, we spent most of our time watching the Disney Channel or going online and playing all the games that they offered on their website. Whether you were more of an early morning cartoon watcher or a late-night oldies viewer, I can guarantee that you will recognize some, if not all, of these shows.

"Hannah Montana"

Best of both worlds, am I right?! You get the life of a small town girl and a pop star all in one.

"Phil of the Future"

Giphy.com

This show could never get lost in my memory. We get to see a real life 22nd century man!

"That's So Raven"

Giphy.com

"Oh snap!"

"The Suite Life of Zack and Cody"

Giphy.com

Two twins, living in a hotel. Honestly, it couldn't be better.

"Wizards of Waverly Place"

Giphy.com

Not gonna lie, this show made me pretend I had magical powers.

"Life With Derek"

Giphy.com

"Livin' life with derek!"

"Phineas and Ferb"

If you didn't know (and still know) every word to this theme song, then you're lame.

"Brandy and Mr. Whiskers"

Giphy.com

6 a.m. every morning before school... I would literally wake up when it was still dark outside to watch this show in the mornings.

"Lilo & Stitch"

Giphy.com

Nothing beats the unbreakable bond of Lilo and Stitch. This series made me cry more tears than any other Disney series.

"Cory In The House"

Giphy.com

What would it be like to live in the White House with the actual president of the United States? You can find out by following Cory into the White House.

"The Suite Life on Deck"

Giphy.com

When "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" ended, I actually thought my life is over. I didn't think that "The Suite Life on Deck" would even compare to the other series, but honestly, once I started, I couldn't stop.

"Fish Hooks"

Giphy.com

This cartoon was hilarious. Despite all the characters living in a fish tank, I saw them as real people.

"Jonas"

Giphy.com

If you didn't watch Jonas, you weren't a true Jonas Brothers fan. Don't @ me.

"Good Luck Charlie"

Giphy.com

This show started toward the end of my era of watching Disney Channel, but it really got me watching it longer. Charlie's cute little face and everything that happened on the show always had me cracking up.

"Recess"

Giphy.com

If you don't know this classic, then you're too young for me, bro!

"The Proud Family"

Giphy.com

Everything about this show was amazing. Whenever it came on, I had to watch it. I didn't dislike a single character, and I wish this was one show that Disney would bring back.

"Kim Possible"

Giphy.com

Even if you haven't seen this show, I'm sure you've heard of it with the new movie coming out. Ron and his naked mole rat make the best side kicks for Kim and watching this show made me realize as a kid that women are strong!

"Gravity Falls"

Giphy.com

As quirky as this show is, it was a great show to help me transition out of Disney Channel.

"Lizzie McGuire"

Giphy.com

"Lizzie McGuire" is one of the best series I have ever watched. I'm saying I was so obsessed that I literally had a game for my Game Boy.

"Even Stevens"

Giphy.com

Oh, Shia LaBeouf in his youth. This show is hilarious in all sorts of ways. If you've never seen it, you HAVE to look it up.

"Boy Meets World"

Giphy.com

" Boy Meets World" has been pulling heart strings since 1993. It taught us love. It taught us patience. It taught us pain.

"That's So Sweet Life of Hannah Montana"

Giphy.com

Let's be real, crossover shows were to die for. I will never forget when Hannah Montana and Raven Baxter came to "The Suite Life." They are hilarious and watching shows join together is the greatest thing Disney could've ever done.

Disney Channel had some of the greatest shows of my childhood. There was nothing better than having lazy days and watching marathons on Disney Channel. It was quality content that got me ready for the transition into my teen years. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm about to go binge all these series.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
