Whether you start blasting "Oh Holy Night" before you've even bought your turkey or you could do without Christmas music entirely, it seems there's no escaping the endless cycle of holiday tunes throughout the last six weeks of the year.

Regardless of which side you fall on, I'm sure we could all use a few more songs to add to our playlists to interrupt the annual rotation of the same 10 songs that are on a continuous loop every December.

Here are a few forgotten favorites from your childhood that Christmas music fanatics and moderates alike are sure to love, if for no other reason than the nostalgia that they bring.

Justin Bieber - "Mistletoe"

Okay let's be honest, this one's already probably in the deep recesses of your winter mix on Spotify, but considering it's now eight years old there's a chance you'd forgotten about it.

Nickelodeon Stars - "Merry Christmas"

Remember that time all of your favorite Nickelodeon stars got together to sing for a Christmas commercial? Just seeing the casts of iCarly, Big Time Rush, and Victorious all together takes me back to winter break of '06.

"It's not Christmas without you"

Victorious never failed to deliver us great songs for every occasion, from having a crush on your best friends' brother to getting into the Christmas spirit.

"Beautiful Christmas"

Who could forget when Big Time Rush served us a holiday album with their boy band spin on Christmas classics?

"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"

Of course a holiday blast from the past wouldn't be complete without a song from the 2000's queen of pop herself, Hannah Montana. Don't act like the first thing you did wasn't put on the Hannah Montana wig Santa brought you and performed her song "rock star" in the living room.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
