The stress of spring term finals was so intense that spending days at a time watching Netflix and cuddling your dog all day seemed like heaven. Now that you’re home, you’ve finished the entire third season of Orange Is The New Black, you’re starting to get restless. At school there were people around all the time, especially if you lived in the dorms. Now what? These are ways we’ve all tried to cope with post-college boredom.
1. Make all the toast you want because you're allowed to have a toaster here.
2. Start a journal because this time you'll definitely keep up with it.
3. Rearrange your bedroom because change is good.
4. Sleep in as late as you can so that you have less time during the day to be bored.
5. Stay up all night perfecting all your Spotify playlists because those are important assets.
6. Learn a new instrument because despite your sub par track record with sticking to things, this time will be different.
7. Do yoga because maybe you'll learn how to find your happy place while also becoming more flexible. Or not.
8. Plan out your class schedule years in advance just to see how many years of student debt you'll have to pay off.
9. Fantasize about winning the lottery and buying yourself an entirely new wardrobe because even though right now you have more clothes that can comfortably fit in your closet, you find reasons to hate them all.
10. Try to do a handstand against the wall because this time you won't hurt yourself.
11. Go to the gym because the freshman 15 was NOT a myth.
12. Apply to as many jobs as possible because you're gonna need the money to pay off all your student debt. And for new clothes.
13. Clean out your closet to make room for clothes you don't hate.
14. Try to make as many different variations of ramen as you can because you have access to far superior ingredients at home than just basic flavor packets.
15. Test out your selfie smile in the mirror because practice makes perfect and you probably should update your Twitter avi anyways.
16. Take selfie for said Twitter avi.
17. Twitter stalk your old dorm roommate because you don't see her every day nor do you get all the juicy details of her life as they happen.
18. Twitter stalk yourself and reminisce on all the fun you had at school.
19. Call your best friend and make memories at home that are just as fun and exciting as the ones you made at college.
20. Take time to take in all the things about your hometown that make you love it because you'll miss it just as much in the fall as you miss college life now.
