It's that time once again, the spring semester has finally ended. The stress of finals is finally over and we are finally in the freedom of summer. Now that summer is here, reality has kind of hit that you are broke! Sure you can spend the first few weeks relaxing, sleeping in but even that starts to become boring. You, like a million other college students, don't have a lot of money to be spending on vacation trips, shopping sprees, and going out every day. It also doesn't help that you look on Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram, seeing people out on a cruise, studying aboard, tanning at a beach, and etc. While you're stuck at home, bored out of your mind.

Don't worry though! there are a lot of fun things to do even if its not as lavish as going on a cruise. Not everyone has the money to just go places and you shouldn't feel bad because of it You can have a fun summer and no spend so much money as well. So here is a list of 20 ideas to make your summer full of fun times, and smiles with money still safe in account.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
