20 Times 'The Middle' Described College

1. Packing


2. When you see a dog on campus.


3. When you wake up and get an email that class is cancelled.


4. Why. Am. I. Always. So. Hungry.


5. Your parents aren't around to tell you what to do.


6. When people on your floor decide to play music at 2am on a Tuesday night.


7. When you wake up motivated and say that you are going to catch up on homework.


8. When you are forced to participate in ice-breakers during orientation your freshman year.

9. Waking up an trying to dress somewhat nice for class but then giving up and deciding to wear leggings and a sweatshirt instead.


10. Giving your first college class presentation.

11. When you threaten to quit school and just live with a bunch of cats (or dogs, or any animals really) instead.


12. When your parents encourage you to make new friends during your freshman year.


13. When your professor asks the class if everyone understands the work and you not yes but really mean no, kinda sort of.


14. When you start to consider your life decisions.


15. Getting a package from home and hoping it's some kind of your favorite snack.


16. That point when it's Thursday but you still have to make it through Friday classes before the weekend.


17. Wanting to sleep all day, every day.


18. When you have that one class that seems impossible and has nothing to do with your major but is a requirement to graduate.


19. Getting a good grade on a midterm/final and realizing that your hard work paid off.


20. And finally...when you can't quite tell what they're serving in the dining hall but decide to try it anyway.
