If you're an avid Spongebob fan like me, so often you consider all the moments that the television series has accurately depicted your life. Compiled below is a list of some daily struggles I can best express through the little yellow sponge.

1.) How you act when one of your friends goes home for the weekend

You know they’re coming back but it seems like they’ll be gone forever.

2.) Leaving for winter break like...

Because you just need some time off.

3.) ...And getting to eat something other than dining hall food

Thank god for mom and her cooking.

4.) Avoiding your responsibilities

Because you know you will get everything done eventually!

5.) Going out with your squad and everyone looks on point

You know it's going to be a good night for pictures.

6.) When everyone at the party is getting down...

Time to dance the stress away!

7.) ...But you end up having to corral your friends at the end of the night.

Because they don't ever want to leave.

8.) Trying to get a handle on your life like

Do any of us really know what we're doing?

9.) Hiding everything before room inspections

You can't risk letting your RA see what you guys are really like.

10.) Feeling good after going to the gym for the first time in the semester

The pride you have in yourself after eating a lot of late night pizza.

11.) Finding out you have lecture with one of your best friends

Can someone say 'Study buddies'?

12.) When your TA leads a class discussion

To be blunt, no one is paying attention unless you're the professor.

13.) Getting a passing grade on that test you thought you failed

Thank god for multiple choice, amiright?

14.) Having loud neighbors

Because you know the loud music is hiding something.

15.) When your roommate has a bunch of people over

And you know none of them.

16.) Watching some girl dance at a frat party...

Can you please move your derriere?

17.) ...And then you realize you went to high school with her

Because she didn't act like that in biology class sophomore year!

18.) Going to a class after a late night out...

Throw on some shades to hide your shame.

19.) ...Especially on a Monday morning

They should be outlawed.

20.) Finally- meeting some of your best friends and finding out they're just as weird as you

We're all goofy goobers- yeah.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
