College is a time of all-nighters, endless cups of coffee, confusion, and laughs. It is overwhelming, yet a time when we grow. Who better to describe this than the Lorelai and Rory? "Gilmore Girls" is very near and dear to the hearts of many college students. When we are not cramming, writing, or sitting in class watching "Gilmore Girls" is our go to. Lorelai and Rory described our feelings ceaseless times through their witty phrases. Here are a few of my favorite "Gilmore Girls" GIF's to describe college life.

1. When you are in a lecture and cannot keep up with the professor.

2. When you are meeting everyone for the first time and you want them to like you.

3. When someone from your floor that you hardly know starts telling you about their embarrassing moment.

4. When a professor reads the syllabus and you realize all of the work that you are going to have to do.

5. How every girl reacts after someone on your floor goes through a breakup.

6. When you haven't been home in a while and you finally see your family.

7. How you feel every Sunday night.

8. When the cafeteria has something that you actually like.

9. When people ask you when you do homework.

10. When you know you have two exams, a paper, and laundry to do, but your friend points out another assignment due the next day.

11. When you pull an all-nighter.

12. When you try to study but become distracted by everything around you.

13. What you try to remind yourself every day as you prepare to face the world.

14. When people ask you to tell them all about college.

15. When someone offers to share their notes.

16. When you are giving a speech that you haven't prepared for.

17. How everyone feels during dead week.

18. Your attitude the entire week before finals.

19. When you think about graduation.

20. When after a long day of homework and socializing, you binge watch Gilmore Girls.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
