Growing up, I was not a "Star Wars" kid. I had no ambition to be like Luke Skywalker. I never dressed up on Halloween as Princess Leia. I always said I was going to eventually watch the movies, but never really got around to it. Then suddenly it was 2015 and "The Force Awakens" was right around the corner. It was time to finally watch "Star Wars." But with such little time and so much to watch, I had a dilemma: which trilogy should I watch? The original or the prequel? Well, after talking to basically every "Star Wars" fanatic I know, it was apparent that I would be watching the original trilogy. These are just a few thoughts I had while watching "Episode IV."
1. "Oh, I need to focus because I have to read this."
2. "What's a Death Star and why is it circular instead of star shaped?"
3. "Why does Darth Vader sound like that?"
4. "Who would choose the name Darth Vader?"
5. "What is that hair?"
6. "R2D2! I've heard of this character! I'm basically an expert now."
7. "Hey, Luke Skywalker, you aren't half bad." *winks*
8. "Where exactly do you get Obi-Wan from the name Ben?"
9. "Not his aunt and uncle! What did they do to deserve this? I'm not watching this anymore."
10. "Oh my gosh, Harrison Ford used to be young."
11. "I want a Wookiee!"
12. "Where are those cute little fuzzy creatures I've seen pictures of before?"
13. "Bye Obi-Wan, you were so cool for the 20 minutes you were here."
Nevermind, he's back.
