1. When you first come back from school:

IT’S SO GOOD TO BE HOME.


2. Third day back home:

Yep this was a good break, I’m ready to go back to school.


3. Going to the beach:

Yep, really regretting those late night pizza runs right about now.

4. Realizing one piece swimsuits are making a comeback this summer to hide all the weight you gained:

THANK GOD.

5. Realizing there is no “college discounts” back at home:

Sooo where’s the $1 pizza?

6. When none of your hometown friends can hang out:

Well, I guess I’ll move on to my 12th season of Netflix for the week…

7. Realizing job openings in your hometown are limited and you’re still job-less:

I’m poor, please hire me.

8. Driving your car for the first time since school:

What did I do without a car all those months?!

9. Realizing how far all your school besties live away from you:

Crying...crying a lot...still crying.

10. When you get asked to do chores around the house:

Chores? What? Those exist still???

11. Seeing snapchats of your friends who stayed at school for the summer:

FOMO. Majorrrr FOMO.

12. Realizing your tolerance is going to be gone by the end of summer:

Well, yikes.

13. Every time your paycheck comes in:

MONEYYY!

14. When your family takes you out to a nice meal:

This beats the dining hall any day.

15. Remembering how awesome your family is:

Wow, I love you guys.

16. Visiting your school for the weekend:

Two words. PARTY. TIME.

17. Realizing you don't have to worry about schoolwork for the next 3 months:

Thank the Lord.

18. Driving past your old high school:

Lol, sucks for all the people who still go there!

19. Trying to plan a cool vacation and looking at the prices of plane tickets:

Thank you United airlines for crushing my dreams.

20. Driving around your hometown:

Man, as much as I love college, I really did miss this place and am glad to be back.

Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.
