We all have those days, and sometimes those days turn into weeks. Everyone reacts to it differently, and everyone needs different remedies to deal with it. I just got done with one of those weeks and this is how I did it, maybe it’ll help you too.
- Talk about it with your loved ones. They’ll understand and help you through it.
- Be grateful for your loved ones. It’s rewarding to say it.
- Do something nice for them. To remind them why they have you.
- Take their suggestions for dealing with the hard times. And try them.
- Ask your them to do something fun with you to take your mind off it. But make time to deal with the struggles too.
- Keep your head up. Its hard but you have to. Tough times don’t last, tough people do.
- Write a list of everything stressing you out, and right next to write what you have to do to handle it. Check them off as you go, so when you’re done you have something to look at for your ccomplishments.
- Write about what’s making it a bad week, or who and even directly to who. If you’re a writer like me I’m sure you’ll understand the joy of writing.
- Breathe when you start panicking. It really helps even if takes time.
- Lay down and close your eyes for short periods of time. When you rest briefly, you’ll be able to handle obstacles easier.
- Listen to your favorite kinds of music. Or songs with uplifting lyrics, these are my recommendations:
- Dress well, in whatever makes you feel good.
- Take care of your hygiene. That means so many things and I shouldn’t have to explain.
- Exercise. Your brain releases dopamine and can rid of you of the stomach knots and anxiety from the events causing you to stress.
- Eat healthy and in reasonable portions. Stress eating is in fact real but it doesn’t help. You’ll have better energy from healthy foods to deal with the stress
- Sleep. Could be all you think about in times like that, could be hard to get in times like that, but you need it. Make time for it. If its hard, here are some ideas:
- Self Hypnosis
- Count Backwards from 100
- Blink quickly for 30 seconds at a time
- Avoid alcohol and other depressants. Tempting as they are, they’re not going to help. They’ll push you in the opposite direction.
- Ask for help. From whoever or whatever it may be, there is nothing wrong with it.
- Reflect on other tough times you had. If you made it through those, you can make it through these.
- Smile. Not to hide the pain but to break it.
