20 Things That Broke The Internet in 2016

A lot happened in 2016. For starters, the Earth once again successfully revolved around the sun AND we didn't die, an evil tangerine reality tv star with no political experience was elected President, and the nation became ridiculously infatuated with a gorilla who dragged a child across his gorilla play pen (R.I.P. Harambe, but also WTF America).

Let us not forget that we stopped trying to score Tinder matches this year and instead scoured through our neighborhood catching Pokemon.

'Twas a monumental year -- shall we reminisce?

Queen Bey released the "Formation" video, which shed a light on police brutality, the #BlackLivesMatter movement, girl power, and the conditions in New Orleans.

Ball is life, as Villanova defeated the University of North Carolina to become the 2016 Men's Basketball National Champions.

Harper Lee, To Kill A Mockingbird author (the book we probably actually read and didn't use Cliffnotes for in high school), dies at 89.

Pop icon, Prince, passes away at 57.

Akiel Denkins, 24, is shot and killed in southeast Raleigh by Officer D.C. Twiddy. Protests arise.

Muhammad Ali, renown boxer, dies at the age of 74.

Brock Turner was sentenced to 6 months after sexually assaulting a female student.

49 people were killed at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. This was the worst mass shooting in American history.

Harambe, a gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo, was shot after dragging a 3-year-old boy across his enclosure. The boy survived and Harambe continued to live through viral memes. In fact, thousands even voted for him for President.

Pokemon Go became the most downloaded app (and amount of sex being had per day lessened).

Britain left the European Union #Brexit #ByeFelicia

Willy Wonka's Gene Wilder passed away at 83.

People stopped "netflixing and chilling" for a bit and actually watched the damn show. Stranger Things, a Netflix original series, was one of the top streamed shows in 2016.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt split after 11 years.

The dude who figured out mixing sweet tea and lemonade was a delightful blend, Arnold Palmer (also a famous golfer) died at 87.

Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.

Joe Biden and Evil Kermit the Frog memes dominated the Internet.

Cuban Dictator, Fidel Castro, passes away at 90.

Pop icon George Michael passed away at 53, followed by Star Wars alumna Carrie Fisher, at age 60 and her mother, Debbie Reynolds at 84.

JLo and Drake made it insta official.

To those who celebrate, you just spent an entire day cooking an elaborate meal with all of your favorite foods. You probably ate your body weight in pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes. What happens now? 18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
