The sun is finally shining and the temperature is rising; who isn’t excited for summer? You survived a whole school year filled with constant homework or projects, waking up before sunrise, and living the same boring routine on repeat. So cutting loose is the number one priority after finals. With that being said, make sure you use your time wisely and not get caught up indoors with your cell in your hand. Create countless of memories. Here are 20 things you’ll have to do this summer to ensure that you’ll make them!

1. Spend the day at the beach

2. Go to a concert

Scream the lyrics, my friend.

3. Visit the zoo

Animals and the outdoors? Sounds like a perfect day.

4. Hike at a wilderness park

Maybe a beautiful view will distract you from the exercise you're enduring... Wipe the sweat off your forehead and happy hiking.

5. Have a bonfire

Wouldn't recommend what is demonstrated above, but gather around the fire! It's nice to enjoy the stars with some of your closest friends!

6. Give up your electronics for one full day

DETOX. Staying off social media for one day won't kill you!

7. Visit your county fair

Don't shy away from the corn on the cob; you know that's one of the main reasons you decided to check it out!

8. Read a new book

9. Go to a drive in

Pack some sweets/popcorn and wrap up in some blankets!

10. Learn how to barbecue

Make a bomb dinner for your friends one night!

11. Meet new people

Yeah, yeah, we all know it can be nerve-racking, but you might as well put yourself out there.

12. Kayak

13. Play in a beach volleyball tournament

It's always fun to have some friendly competition!

14. Have a massive water gun fight

15. Create a scrapbook

SO what if you're not crafty! You'll be able to look back on your summer when you're mourning the arrival of school.

16. Watch the sunrise

This could make the perfect start to your day, just make sure you have a latte in your hand.

17. Paint a picture

Make Bob Ross proud!

18. Ride a Ferris wheel

19. Go on a breakfast date

If only JT could sit across from all of us.

20. Go cliff diving

Summer is the season we look forward to all school year; late mornings and even later nights spent with friends and family. The sun is out all day, then it creates a beautiful sky when it goes down. The memories and possibilities are endless. These are some of the activities I'm going to make a point to experience with some of my best friends. What are you going to do this summer?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
