I've been thinking a lot lately about what I want to do with my life... what I want to be, where I want to go, the things I want to see. I then realized, how lucky am I to have the opportunity to do these things that some people can only dream about?
Most of our bucket lists include going to Paris, riding in a hot air balloon, falling in love, going on a road trip, blah blah blah but do they have anything listed that involve giving back to others or just simply, evolving who we are as a person?
That's when it hit me. What I want to do with my life is make a difference in the lives of others and leave a positive legacy for my family to be proud of. My question to you is, what kind of person do you want to be remembered as?
So instead of thinking about the fabulous trips I could be taking and the luxuries I could be treating myself with, I want to create a life list that is people-centered, not me-centered. The things you do such as smiling more or cutting back on energy may seem minor but they make a small difference. A big impact is made up of small differences. Each act is slowly but surely making the world a better and happier place to live.
Here's 20 things I plan to do that may inspire you to add a few items to your bucket list.
