A life with cats is most certainly a weird one. Cat owners may possibly be some of the weirdest people you will ever know. In saying that, I mean that cat owners are used to some pretty weird things for their cats, in fact, I wonder who's really training who.

1. Cat owners tend to be used to random attacks, simply for walking by their furry little friend.

2. People with cats are likely used to the constant smell of cat litter.

3. Any new cat owner will shortly learn that it's no use buying cat toys or cat houses, cats would prefer a twist tie or any kind of bag or box.

4. Any skilled cat owner is used to their fluffy friend crawling all over whatever they are doing, and know how to work around it.

5. The majority of cat owners are used to being woken up at five in the morning just because. "If I'm awake you're awake." It's as simple as that.

6. Most cat owners become accustomed to all the noises your cat makes, especially running into everything in your house. "No it's not someone trying to break in, it was just Deborah."

7. Understanding the constant struggle of walking anywhere because your cat will be right in front of you until you trip into a wall.

8. Getting used to the random thuds, and running throughout the house. "I'm not getting attention, so I'll just sprint through the house until someone notices me."

9. Knowing that if a cat is on you, you never, EVER move because that kind of love is rare and genuine.

10. When the top phrase of the household becomes "GET OFF THE TABLE!"

11. Leaving the house is a constant struggle because of the guilt trip your cat gives you when you're getting ready to leave.

12. Coming home is the most rewarding feeling because your cat is always happy to see you, and they're just a little extra loving when walking inn the door.

13. When waking up to a cat butt in the face is a normal, yet sweet occurrence.

14. True cat owners know just the right amount of affection to give their cats when they beg for it. "About three pets is enough; any more and I'll bite."

15. Cat owners almost never get lonely in the bathroom, their furry friends are always there for support!

16. Anyone living with cats will learn to leave all doors open just a crack, because if your cat can't get in there will be little paws coming up from under the door until you open it anyway.

17. Answering your cats "meows" as if you understand them either by meowing back, or just giving them a simple human answer. "MEOWWWW! I know life is just so hard."

18. Rubbing faces with your cat because it's probably the only way they will ever willingly bond with you.

19. Always making accommodations for your cat in any situation.

20. Learning how to become a protective eater because your cat can and will find a way to get whatever you're having.

Christmas is literally so close. We can almost taste it. But there is just one thing standing between you and the big day: FINALS. It's not the studying, lack of sleep, last minute cram sessions or crappy food intake that is the worst... but the fact that you cannot focus because, well, CHRISTMAS. How do professors expect you to focus when Christmas is soooo soon. For all my fellow Christmas lovers out there, I feel your pain.

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
