In a couple of weeks, I'm going to turn 20. It's hard for me to believe that I will be leaving my teenage years and finally be seen as an official young adult. My dad has even said his favorite age is 20 because he was “still young enough to get away with doing something stupid”. Not that he did anything illegal, but everyone makes mistakes. So in order to celebrate my big 2-0, here are 20 things I want to do before I turn 30!

1. Go to the circus with a group of friends

I have not been to a circus in over seven years. I miss all the crazy and wild stunts, beautiful animals, and total atmosphere of the circus. Plus, going with friends would make it more exciting.

2. Go to a carnival and win a big prize

I am a loser who has never wanted to spend enough money to actually get a big enough prize at a carnival. But those giant teddy bears are so cool, so I want to win one before I turn 30.

3. Make a video scrapbook

This idea has always been intriguing to me. I used to love making weird videos, but a video scrapbook to record all of my memories seems even better.

4. Travel Europe with my friends

I have wanted to travel for as long as I can remember, and traveling across Europe is a must! But why do it alone when I can share the adventures with my friends?

5. Get married

Sure this is typical, but I am really excited to marry my best friend.

6. Have a career

I'm in College now focusing on my career. I have wanted to be a teacher for four years now and I cannot wait until this is actually my career.

7. Binge watch at least five shows on Netflix in less than a month

I usually take my time with watching Netflix shows. But this will change!

8. Go to Grad school

This is sort of connected to my career, but I hear so many great things about Grad school so I'm definitely excited to finally go!

9. Go to a midnight movie premiere

I have never gone to one before, so the long lines and pitch black sky seems like the perfect movie time.

10. Roller blade through Central Park

I can roller blade on ice, so I should be able to roller blade through Central Park without a problem, right?

11. Eat the largest pizza with my friends in less than 20 minutes

My best friend and I have a running joke about pizza and how it's good. I hope she would be one of these friends to join me.

12. Bake desserts, then have a food fight

Who doesn't love a good food fight? Especially when people get their just desserts.

13. Buy a lottery ticket

I do not have the best of luck, so odds are I wouldn't win anything. But at least I can buy them on my own now!

14. Earn 1,000,000+ tickets at Dave and Busters

I have never been to Dave and Busters, so that's part of why I want to go. But I also want pride in getting one million tickets at an arcade.

15. Spend a whole weekend at a water park

I've spent days at a water park, but never a whole weekend. Anybody in?

16. Learn a new language

American Sign language and Latin are the two languages I would like to learn. I'll try to learn just one before I turn 30.

17. Read Harry Potter backwards, then read it normally

I've never read Harry Potter so why not read each book end to begging, then read it normally?

18. Spend a night in an actual haunted house

I love scary movies and I love the Paranormal; what could go wrong?

19. Take a selfie everyday for a year

I love seeing the before and after effects of this. It will most likely be when I turn 29.

20. Enjoy my 20’s

I am really looking forward to turning 20 years old. I have a feeling the next decade will be a truly great one!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
